Silly Ella

This girl is one messy monkey. We often finds remnants of whatever meal she last ate in her hair, ears, nostrils, armpits... you catch the drift!! But she is loads of fun right now - everything is worthy of a fake laugh or two. She loves laughing at strangers at the store who thankfully think its funny and often laugh right back. She is looking forward to all the family she is going to be seeing in the next few months and practicing lots of new words for you! Kisses to everybody :) Here are some cell phone snapshots!

She loves her wings

So Ella is still having fun with her halloween costume - she thinks its pretty funny to wear these ladybug wings around the house! She is babbling a lot - she can say a couple words, like banana, baby and apple. She will point at our noses, ears and mouths but it is definitely up to Ella whether she is in the mood for that or not!! Thanks Aunt Lolo for the cute beanie - she actually is really good about keeping stuff on her head. Love you all!

Happy Halloween!!

Ok - so Ella was adorable tonight for Halloween. We had a block party on our street and all the neighborhood kids got together. Denielle, Shig and Aiden were able to join us which made the night an even more special treat! It's great to have them over to Ella's house since she is usually invading theirs!! She was so taken by all the people everywhere and all the flashing cameras. She wasn't much for walking around though with all the action, she was glued to mine or Cam's hip all night! And of course Denielle too who I am sure already gets plenty of hip time! So here are a couple pics of our beautiful ladybug!!

Our child is crazy...

So I know that Megan thinks our baby never has any clothes on... but I like to think a diaper counts. But seriously we try not to clothe her until after breakfast and if you have ever seen her eat then you know why... as far Cameron he has no excuse for being shirtless. We took this video of her on her new Barbie ATV. It's pretty funny when you get midway through - but maybe thats because we think everything she does is funny. She has been keeping us busy as always... saying new words like "nana" (short for banana), "doggy" and still screaming DADDY at the top of her lungs and pointing at EVERYTHING and saying "wasdat?" She is getting a little more mischievous by the day as well, she sure knows how to work her mama's buttons! I can't help but pick her up every time she cries... and 80% of the time it's a fake cry. She is just so darn cute when she throws a fit! Cam will disagree with me but what are dad's for?? Other than that - not too much is new around here, just trying to figure out what on earth the weather is doing. One day Ella is wearing sun dresses and the next - snow boots - and then back again!! Although I am loving the variety in her wardrobe it is really quite annoying. Keep you posted...

Happy Birthday!

Ella did great all day yesterday in spite of the birthday madness! We had SO much fun celebrating her first birthday - lots of friends came out to join us as we became parents of a toddler. And although we know we disappointed Juliette... she was chanting "Put your face in the cake!" - it was still pretty funny to watch her. Here are some pics from last night!

Ella is ALMOST one!

Wow, time really flies. The last month has brought all kinds of realizations to Cameron and I - one of them being that Ella is actually the boss of US! She is teething like crazy and what Ella wants Ella gets! Haha, but in all seriousness, I hope that this truly is a "teething" stage and that we aren't raising a VERY demanding child! She took her first "real" steps this week. She has been taking a step here or a step there for a while, but I think we can officially say she is now walking. She is still a bit wobbly and looks a little drunk when getting from point A to point B but she's giving it her best effort. We are preparing for Ted and Debbie to come visit (and babysit) and couldn't be more thrilled for them to get here this weekend! Ella has all kinds of plans for them... As for her first birthday coming up we are planning lots of celebration! The whole family is getting together to take the kids to Disneyland which will be exciting for Ella but also her cousins Conner and Bailey! I feel bad for whoever has to drive with them because I am sure it is going to be hours of "Are we there yet?" Anyways, here's a couple pictures of her I took for her 1 year old party invites and more to come on the classic Ella crawling in shopping carts and smearing food on her face pictures!
